Time: 9:30 - 10:30am

• Class ranges from 5-20 students from middle school through high school

• Uplifting and lively contemporary song and praise worship songs

• Praise team is led by four students: Phượng, Kimberly, Mary, and Cathy

• Each student is encouraged to lead the praise worship and participate fully in the Sunday school discussion

• Taught in English by Anh Tom Chau and Anh Thạch Phong

    

2007 has been marked and blessed by much spiritual growth and faithfulness by these young people. Earlier this Spring 8 of our students were baptized into Christ (David Nguyen, David Tran, Capbe, Judy, Alexandria, James, Phuoc and Lan). Activities ranged from New Years Party, Valentine Celebration, Church Slumber Party, Beach Picnics, camping trip in Lake Swan and so much more. They have definitely grown more in Christ and to each other.

      The second hour of worship from 11:30-12:30 is facilitated by C. Sarah Chau.  Here, class time is interactive and students are rehearsed on songs, both in English and Vietnamese, to be sung on special occasions in front of the congregation.  Presently, this class is completing the series “Experiencing the Heart of Jesus.” These lessons are Christ-centered and focused on understanding who Jesus is.  It takes these young people through  an  in depth session of how Experiencing the Love, Power, Joy, Forgiveness and Prayer of Jesus will ultimately prepare them to know and experience the heart of Jesus.  The last week of July will be a mid year Bible Bowl Competition.  There will be team as well as individual competitions with prizes and awards.  Please pray for our class as they start preparing for Bible Bowl and apply their ESS lessons to glorify God each day.  So bring your friends, all of them!
